Abbie's Story
I have been learning and training with dogs for around 17 years, from voluntary work at a vets to being employed at several boarding kennels & canine charities. I have developed skills working with a large variety of different breeds. Aswell as having good practical skills I also have an academic side too just by looking at my
studies in Animal Management levels 1 & 2, canine psychology, Advanced dog training and a degree in Canine and feline Industries at Northampton University/ Moulton College, AET Level 3, canine first aid. I have shadowed many professional dog trainers across the UK, and I have also completed mentorship programs:
-Raven K9 Dog Training
-Revolution K9 Dog Training
to improve my skill set, and improve dog training in every aspect, via communication, play and relationship.
I have attended various seminars to look more into advance obedience and sport dog work, and continue building strength in the canine world, where it is never ending of learning and growth development.
Meet the Team
Here is my team through Obedient K9 Dog Training, where at some point you may meet them in person to practise your skill set with dogs who already understand a deep understanding and level of training.

Maisie (Terrier crossbreed)
Originally from Ireland, Maisie was rescued from Dogs Trust when I worked there for eight years. She had her issues to begin with being extremely fearful of vehicles, and separation anxiety. She has also helped hundreds of young people with mental health, as a therapy dog through a charity called Young Gloucestershire.
Maisie is now retired however you may see her from time to time, helping with some dogs in training.

Mango (American Akita)
Mango was rescued from Bulgaria at six months old. She had already developed some bad habits over there such as Coprophagia, fearful of people, and has a huge predatory drive when she arrived. American Akita's are known for their loyal bond and stubborn nature. However this breed is not for the faint hearted. Mango is a stooge dog for my 1-2-1 dog reactive cases, as she's very neutral with dogs she doesn't know and has high levels of obedience and currently underway to do a BH in dog sport. She has just achieved a 2nd place in a pet dog trial.
